Student Council News

Student Council's annual Pennies for Patients drive has officially kicked off! The drive runs until March 31, 2017. Francis Wyman's goal is to raise $1,500.00.  The winning classroom will receive a pizza party!  http://fwelemstudentcouncil.blogspot.com/  

Francis Wyman staff and students SOAR as they celebrate St. Patrick's Day!

A special shout out to all the students and staff at Francis Wyman for their constant display of our SOAR values which include Self-control, Outstanding effort, Acts of kindness, and Respect.  Our students are amazing and each and every day we feel privileged to be a part of their lives!

A few 5th grade students were happy to join in the celebration on Friday morning.

All 2nd grade classes performed a RESPECT rap to reinforce the theme of

our assembly.  They were enthusiastic while showing off their musical talents!

The 5th grade SOARing squad paid tribute to 4 Francis Wyman teachers with personalized essays that highlighted how teachers demonstrate RESPECT for their students each and every day.  At this assembly, students honored Mrs. Goguen, Mrs. D"Amico, Mr. Rebelo & Mr. Stead for role modeling "respect" in many ways!

Many teachers joined the fun when they jumped up to participate in a flash mob dancing to Aretha Franklin's Respect! 

Even the Francis Wyman Falcon got into the spirit and couldn't resist 

shaking her feathers to the music!

Students from all grades and specialist areas were selected by staff to receive
SOAR awards for their respectful nature each and every day at FW!
Congratulations to all of our award winners!

Mrs. McDonald celebrated the end of a very busy day with
some students in Ms. O'Meara's class!
