Weekly Bulletin

At School
We are very fortunate to have some school traditions at Francis Wyman that  have continued through the years.  Our Kindergarten classes give us an outstanding Nutcracker performance every December, and it's quite fun for all students to look back fondly at the dances and songs they performed. Thank you K teachers for continuing this festive tradition year after year. Happy Holidays to everyone!  Have an enjoyable and restful vacation. See you on January 2, 2014!

Winter Procedures

Winter is really here in full force as the ice and snow is now upon us! I would like parents to know about the winter procedures for morning drop-off and afternoon student pick-up. If the sidewalks are icy or too snowy in the morning, we will have students enter the building through the gym. Students who are being picked up at the end of the day will be dismissed through the kindergarten doors as the parking lot area can be too icy or snowy for anyone to walk on. These winter procedures will be in place until further notice as we will not return to dismissal though the cafeteria until the weather is better.

News and Info!

Thank you for joining us this week at our annual Winter Concert.  It was quite a festive show and all the fourth and fifth graders and teachers... Mrs. Gendron, Mrs. Peabody, and Ms. Potts worked hard to put it together.  Great show!

We were also fortunate to have Ms. Pavlicek and Mr. Musselman here today to present "Forces and Motion" to all FW students.  Here are a couple of pics...

Our 2013 Holiday Book Fair was a great success.  Thank you all for your generous support! The Fair actually continues on line at scholastic.com/fair until December 17th.
