A Patriotic Tribute from our 2nd Grade Superstars!

Thanks Mrs. Peabody and Mrs. Samuels for leading our talented 2nd-grade performers
in a tribute to our Nation, our Service Members, and the freedoms we are lucky to
enjoy each day.  Great job 2nd grade!

Creative Writers
Grade 1 students practiced their narrative writing skills and described the new planets they discovered or used their iPads to write about their underwater adventures.  Students love to share their creative stories so be sure to ask them to read them aloud to you at home!

THANK YOU
A special thanks to our PTO for the fabulous Cornhole boards that were donated to our school!  The entire staff enjoyed a tournament last week on the new Falcon boards handmade by a parent,                     Stephen Worsham.
Great fun for everyone!

An Amazing Display of Artistic Talent
Thank you all for attending our Arts Night on Tuesday! The orchestra and band opened the concert for both fourth and fifth grade. It is great to hear all the improvement since the beginning of the school year. Afterward, it was easy to sing along with our Fourth Grade students who showed off their musical talents while performing Disney favorites.  Then, the Fifth Graders performed the show Joust, and entertained us with a great display of storytelling, singing, and dancing!  Thank you to Mrs. Peabody, Mrs. Samuels, Mrs. Gendron, Mr. Samulak, Mrs. Kerr,  and Ms. Vigneau for all the extra time and effort you gave to create this memorable school and community event.  All the art projects will be on display throughout the main lobby for a few weeks, so if you did not have a chance to come on Tuesday, please be sure to stop by during regular school hours to view your children's artwork.

Below, Mrs. Zani, is presented with a Burlington Education Foundation STAR Award for excellence in teaching.  Thank you Evelyn F. for nominating your teacher - she is certainly deserving of this high honor.
