Singing with Mrs. Astone

It has been great fun visiting kindergarten and first grade classrooms over the past few weeks. The visits  give the students a chance to talk to the principal in a comfortable setting and to have some fun together singing. Discussions have focused on encouraging students to follow the behavioral expectations so that everyone can focus on learning. When asked what the students think the principal does,  their answers include "keeping everyone safe"," making sure students behave properly", and "telling the teachers what to do" !
