BURLINGTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Burlington Public Schools is to help all students acquire organized knowledge, master physical and intellectual skills, and understand ideas in ways that foster a positive self-image and lead to lifelong learning, self-sufficiency, and responsible citizenship.

Francis Wyman Elementary School Vision Statement

The Francis Wyman School community is dedicated to supporting all students in their intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development as they become independent, life-long learners and responsible citizens. Through collaboration in a safe, secure environment, students learn to recognize and respect each other’s individual talents and differences while striving to reach their full potential.

Restructure and utilize the master schedule to support common planning time to develop and review goals for teaching and learning.

Continue to use assessment data to monitor growth and align and adjust curriculum and instruction.
