Our first Veteran's Day Ceremony was held on Wednesday, November 9 at the FW flagpole while the sun was brilliantly shining. We were honored to be joined by 5 local veterans all related to students or staff. Levi DiFranza, David Nelson, Saul Portillo, Daniel Thornell, and Sean Henrikson took time out of their busy schedules to be part of this celebration. FW students sang patriotic songs, honored the flag, thanked the veterans, and listened to Taps, played on the trumpet by Mrs. Gendron. A huge thank you to Mrs. Peabody and Mrs. Samuels, our music teachers, for helping to put this ceremony together. From our Francis Wyman family, "thank you" to all our veterans for serving our country and keeping us safe!
