Just before school began, Mrs. Conley and a very dedicated group of Francis Wyman families got together to beautify the entrance of our school. They added mums and mulch to make our school look fabulous! THANK YOU to the following families - we are so grateful for your support! Back to School Night is scheduled for Wednesday, September 14, from 6:00 - 8:00pm. Be on the lookout for an informational flyer that will go home with all students on Monday with more details. We look forward to seeing our Francis Wyman parents for this informative evening.
Household Hazardous Waste Collection
The Burlington Board of Health will conduct a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 8:30 am to 12 pm at Francis Wyman Elementary School, 41 Terrace Hall Avenue. This collection event is for Burlington Residents only and provides an opportunity for proper disposal of household quantities of hazardous materials. Proof of residency
will be required. Oils, gasoline, pesticides, pool chemicals, propane tanks, car batteries, and
mercury containing materials will be accepted for proper recycling or disposal. All materials should be transported in sturdy containers. Medical sharps and expired/unwanted medications will not be accepted; however, a sharps kiosk is available at the Fire Department and a medication kiosk is available at the Police Department. Brochures will not be mailed to residents.
