Francis Wyman was pleased to host the 1:1 Technology Summit today. Seventy-five teachers from all around Massachusetts visited our school to learn how we integrate technology in the classroom. Our students were excited to demonstrate all their various projects. We were proud to be hosts and very proud of our school.
The first round of PARCC is officially over. Besides a few small glitches, the process was smooth. Our students were flexible with this new test, and our teachers did a fabulous job executing it! We are currently scheduling the May testing dates and will send home the details very soon.
The grade 5 Science MCAS is scheduled for May 7 and May 8. All fifth grade students will take this test both days. Please have the students to school on time these two days. Get plenty of sleep and have a good breakfast.
Spring Concert and Family Art Night is scheduled for next Wednesday, April 16. The Art Exhibit, created by students in grades 1 - 5, can be viewed anytime from 6pm - 8pm. Grade 4 Spring Concert will be in the auditorium at 6pm and Grade 5 Spring Concert will be in the auditorium at 7pm. Mrs. Gendron, Miss Potts, Mrs. Peabody, Mrs. Kerr, and Mrs. Finkle hope to see you all there! This is a family event and all are invited! Please see the music blog for details. http://franciswymanmusic.wordpress.com/
