No School Supply Lists
Parents have been inquiring, "Where are the supply lists?". This year we did not send home any supply lists. The school district is committed to provided all students with the basic supplies that are needed for every day instruction. Pencils, crayons, markers, glue, scissors are examples of basic classroom supplies that the school provides. In reviewing the supply lists from the past years, it became clear that the intent of the supply lists had changed over the years. Therefore, this year it was determined that supply lists are not necessary. However, donations are always most welcome! Teachers will still be able to request donated items that may be needed during the year. Often items are needed for special projects such as cotton balls, Popsicle sticks, beads, etc. Some teachers may be looking for larger items such as rocking chairs. There will be a list of "Wish List" items posted on the PTO website throughout the year as one way for teachers to request donations of special items. There is one thing that parents can take off their "To Do List" and that is the "School Supply List"!
