Cribbage Anyone?
These 5th-grade ladies have learned how to play
cribbage this year and spend indoor recess time
competing against each other and Mrs. McDonald.

Mrs. McDonald shared her love of cribbage and a cribbage board family artifact with Mrs. Ski's 1st-grade class.  Many students and their family members have shared personal family artifacts throughout the year as they explore cultures and family traditions.

Book Fair Help Request...
The Francis Wyman Library Learning Commons is looking for adult volunteers to help at our Spring Scholastic Book Fair, which is scheduled for Monday, April 30th-Friday, May 4th. The fair will be open Monday-Friday from 8:30am-2:15pm and on the evening of May 1st during the Spring concert. We’re looking for volunteers for morning shifts (8:15am-11:00am) and afternoon shifts (11:30am-2:15pm) to help with cash registers, student wish lists, and general traffic control in the library during this busy week. If you’re interested in volunteering and have had a CORI check and attended a confidentiality meeting with Mrs. McDonald, please contact Megan Carney at mcarney@bpsk12.org or (781) 238-2849. Thank you!

Artist in Residence
This week our first graders enjoyed a guest Artist in Residence Program! Ms. Courtney Fallon, art teacher at Pine Glen School, shared her expertise on still-life drawing. Each student brought in their favorite stuffed animal and drew it, using Ms. Fallon's techniques. We will be displaying the masterpieces during our Spring Art Show on May 1, from 6:00 - 8:00pm, and hope you will be able to join us for this special event!
