Burlington Public Schools are collecting gently-used clothing and sneakers in support of local children in-need!

Cradles to Crayons provides essential items to children living in low-income or homeless situations in Massachusetts. We do this by collecting new and gently-used items from local families and redistributing them to children in-need of everyday essentials.

Before leaving for summer vacation, please consider cleaning out your closets and dropping off your gently used children’s items in a toter in the lobby at any of the Elementary schools: Fox Hill, Francis Wyman, Memorial or Pine Glen from June 2-20th.
We are especially in need of:
Boys clothing sizes 2T - 18/20 (especially tops)
Girls clothing sizes 24 months – 18/20 (especially tops)
Sneakers (up to adult size 10)
Because of our unique model, items donated to Cradles to Crayons are distributed directly to local children in-need. By donating clothing and sneakers you no longer want or need, you can help make a difference in the life of a child in need, and help Cradles to Crayons provide local kids with quality items, free of charge, that will help them thrive – at home at school and at play.

For more information on Cradles to Crayons and how to get involved, visitwww.cradlestocrayons.org/boston.  For questions, please call Nancy Kiehl 781-307-7486
